Gold and Silver Keum Boo Small Rectangle Stud Earrings

Used Keum Boo Technique to make these small dainty and cute stud earrings. 24 karat pure gold leaf is fused by using high heat and pressure onto fine silver sheet that I saw into little hammered rectangle shapes. These studs will be your to go earrings.

The gold foils placements vary in each piece.

They measure approximately 3/16" wide and 1/2" long.

What is Keum Boo?

In Korean it means "attached gold". First the silver is depleted into fine silver by using enough heat. Then 24 karat gold foil is applied with heat and pressure. This technique allows the fine silver permanently bond with pure gold.
