Used Keum Boo Technique to make this feminine necklace. Used also faceted sapphire roundels to adorn the focal piece. 24 karat pure gold leaf is fused by using high heat and pressure onto fine silver sheet that I saw into hammered one of a kind piece.
The gold foils placements vary in each piece.

What is Keum Boo?
In Korean, it means "attached gold". First, the silver is depleted into fine silver by using enough heat. Then 24 karat gold foil is applied with heat and pressure. This technique allows the fine silver permanently bond with pure gold.
