Aquamarine comes in transparent blue to sea-green was said to be invisible in seawater. It was carried by sailors as a talisman against drowning. It is believed to have calming effects by reducing the stress and protecting one from the pollutants.
They are mainly sourced in United States, Mexico, Russia, Brazil, India and Ireland.
Because of its association with water, aquamarines are good luck for persons traveling by water.
